Becoming a Member with GasUpUSA is easy. Simply visit your Independent Representative (IR) "Join" Web page, by filling out the online Membership application and purchasing your membership via online bank draft you will be enrolled in the Guaranteed Savings Program (GSP). At that time you will have the option of becoming an Independent Representative (IR) as well, however this is not a requirement.

If a Member also chooses to select the Independent Representative (IR) option, the annual $99 fee, which is charged for the following services: sales and marketing support, sales marketing updates, and replicated Internet Web site is waived at this time. However, as a GasUpUSA Member only option, you may purchase discount gasoline cards and participate in the Guaranteed Savings Program (GSP). Remember Members buy the consumer benefits package, Independent Representatives (IR) sell Memberships and other GasUp USA products and services.

What is an Independent Representative (IR)?

An Independent Representative (IR) participates in the business opportunity by sharing the GasUpUSA Guaranteed Savings Program (GSP) and others GasUpUSA products and services. There is a clear distinction between Independent Representatives (IR) and Members. An Independent Representatives (IR) sells the GSP Membership and participates in the business opportunity to earn commission. A Member is an individual who has joined GasUpUSA for the sole purpose of participating in the GSP and to purchase products and services.

What is the difference between a Member and an an Independent Representative (IR)?

Members can purchase up to $200 in prepaid gas cards in a 30 day period. A Member is simply a consumer of the Guaranteed Savings Program (GSP) and products, and may not sell or sponsor Members/Independent Representatives.

An Independent Representitive (IR) cannot participate in the Member benefits program or purchase products or gasoline cards at a discount. However, an Independent Representitive (IR) may participate in the business opportunity to earn and receive commissions.

What happens if I choose to become an Independent Representative when I sign up as a Member?

If you elect to become an Independent Representative (by checking the box on the sign-up form), when you are signing up as a Member, you will automatically get to participate in the business opportunity to sponsor new Members. Also, the Independent Representative fee of $99 is waived. This means that you will be a Member (which allows you to purchase discount gasoline cards), and an Independent Representative (which allows you to sponsor new Members) for the price of $159.99.

Does an Independent Representative (IR) count as a paid-membership?

No. Individuals who signup as a IR do not count as a paid-member. The member will be placed in the downline they signup in, but will not be counted as a sale. IR memberships will not be counted towards the 9 sales required to cycle. This means the total people in your downline will increase by 1 when a new Independent Representative (IR) signs up, but your total current sales will not.

Members can purchase up to $200 in prepaid gas cards in a 30 day period. Remember this is a consumer membership not a business membership. Please allow 5 business days to place your first membership card order. Additionally, IR's can qualify to receive up to $750 per month in free bonus gas cards. You must register to receive your Universal Bonus Gas Card.

Not at this time. However, the company is working on expanding their membership on an international basis within the next few months. Currently, the membership is for all 50 states in the US only and Puerto Rico.

Please allow 10 business days after your order is placed for the Gas card to be shipped via first class mail. The time frame is the same if you qualified to receive free bonus card(s).

If you are an IR - everything that is offered at your selected gas station can be purchased using these cards. For example: items for sale in the station, oil changes, automotive needs, repairs, car wash, and of course your gas, diesel fuel, and kerosene.

Yes. All of the data entry for each new Member/Independent Representative is handled at the point of sign-up. At that point, if a new Member also selected the option to participte as Independent Representitive (IR), they may begin sharing the great savings and business opportunity with others.

As a new member, you can order your first gas card 5 business days after you join. This delay is in place to ensure that the $159.99 membership fee has been received by us prior to placing any gas card orders.

When the balance reaches $0.00 you will need to go online and place another gas order. Do not throw your card away, you must reuse it.

To check the balance you must use the Web site link provided in the Backroom. You will be able to check your transactions and balances online in real-time. Do not call the number on the back of the card, because they will not be able to assist you and you will be charged a fee. How do I use my Universal Bonus Gas Card?

To use your card you must go inside the station. Tell the attendant it is an ATM debit card and tell them the dollar value you want to use (for example $25 dollars, or however much you want). You will swipe the card in the card reader and you will enter your PIN.
